Gov. Bruce Rauner's approval rating has taken a tumble since November of 2015, according to a new survey.
The Republican governor's approval rating has dipped 8 percentage points to 34 percent when compared to a similar survey done by Morning Consult last year.
Meanwhile, Rauner's disapproval rating has also moved, going up 9 percent to 54 percent. Rauner's ratings have trended towards the negative as the state continues to struggle without a budget, which should have been installed last July.
The survey also found Rauner to be the 6th most unpopular governor in the nation. The full report can be found here.
