Ninety-nine public schools in Chicago have tested positive for lead-laced water, district officials said Friday.

Chicago Public Schools officials said they have thus far received testing results for 263 schools and 4,924 water fixtures. Of those school water fixtures, 160 have tested positive for elevated levels of the highly toxic metal.
