Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is stumping in the Quad Cities area Thursday.
Trump will be holding a rally in Davenport, Iowa at 4 p.m. at the Adler Theatre.
U.S. Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-IL,17) blasted the idea of Trump campaigning in her area.
"Donald Trump's campaign of insults, empty promises and offensive behavior is completely out of touch with our Midwestern values," Bustos said via statement.
"Whether it's his demeaning attacks on so many others, his plan to give massive tax handouts to the ultra-rich or his dangerous call for Russia to carry out cyber-attacks against us, Donald Trump is just too reckless and erratic to be President. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to choose a better path forward by voting for Hillary Clinton's steady leadership, positive vision and detailed blueprint to build a better future for our families."
